I believe you but I was just asking if you watched cuz you came in and shyt on the opinion of someone that was watching. :pachaha:

Oh my fault. Nah i wasnt born yet. But basically from what i read to sum up those years.... Flairs amazing, there are a bunch of old legend nikkas which most of the time wasnt a good thing, nikkas like sid vicious are flops, dusty rhodes could even be a trash booker, nikkas like brian and liger have a outstanding match to be rewarded with being nothing for months or taking Ls to top guys. :russ:

I was listening to The Lapsed Fan a few days ago and holy shyt :picard:. They said that nobody showed up for one house show and Cornette gave Jim Herd flowers with a note saying RIP WCW. Its like this, WCW around that time had probably one of the best rosters of all time (hence the WWE current time), but the wrong bookers for the job (hence the WWE current time), thus led to WCW being in the pits along with fans not giving a damn (50/50 with WWE nowadays). Along with the fact that wrestling was in a weird decline around that time with the steroid trial, no sense of direction for wrestlers, and all around mess with funds and etc. If it wasn't for Bischoff convincing Ted to give up the funds, Heyman for making a wrestling version of a grunge album, and Vince having his back against the wall...wrestling would have been dead all around:shaq2:

I could see those years being outdated and bland storyline wise, but PPV wise those years were great, which separates it from now. 92-93, almost every WCW PPV is great, whereas nowadays it's 50/50 at best.

Nah... Sting, Dangerous Alliance, Vader, Steamboat, Dustin & Windham, Gordy & Dr. Death, Cactus, Jushin Liger, Pillman, etc. were puttin' in that work and turning out good TV... but like most of the time, whomever was runnin' WCW weren't on their shyt and managed to screw it all up by the end of '92. And yeah, they were givin' away super discounted and sometimes free tickets. My local channel that aired WCW was 54, and they were giving tickets for kids at 54 cents sometimes. Other times they'd be 1 or 2 dollars... shyt was wild. At the time, I didnt mind of course, but lookin back, they were definitely doin' bad business-wise.

Yeah in the early 90's I was watching the E and ECW. I really didn't become a WCW diehard till Savage crossed over.

Yeah WCW was basically 2000s TNA status until Hogan came around. 95-98 were the only profitable years they had under Turner.

Im reading pillmans book now.

Wcw just trash af. That year and the previous years before that. Dont let the names of the past your fond of full you.:russ:

Nah. I was watching, not reading a book about it. There's a lot of shyt from the past I can shyt on now, no problem. But WCW in '92 consisted of much more quality than crap, and that was after an awful '91 and before a half-ass '93. If it was trash, I'd have no problem saying that.
