We also need better pitching from CC . Last year we hit verlander some but CC couldn't stop the bleeding . He has to ace up . This year we've beaten up some great pitchers too soo you never know . We really just need one guy to get hot ala friese , matsui , ross doesnt have to be tex or some big star .

We also got pwned by Max Scherzer. Yankees gotta do their homework, and the Yankees also can't be afraid to tinker with the bench. Looking back on past Yankees series, Joe Torre had no problems pulling even clutch players like Scott Brosius if the situation called for Jose Vizcaino instead. Joe Binder's just gonna have to push the right buttons. If that means using Nunez or Nix or Jones, then so be it.
I can see Chris Stewart having a good postseason series. Not too many crappy ab's with him.
