Seriously though ive went to the new Yankee Stadium like 4 times. I use to go to the old stadium 15 or 20 times a year. It's awful I have no desire to go back this year.

The old Stadium was basically falling down....but the FO completely overestimated the allure and what they could rip ppl off on in the NYS.

The bleachers you can only buy one beer at a time and its cut off in the 5th inning. Domestic bottles are 10 bucks there now. Plus the ushers are dikks.

Plus the fans are terrible I had to yell at people to get more amped people just sitting on their hands. People looking at me strange for clapping and going ballistic shyt was just normal occurence at the old place. I'm not even a fan of the opened up ballpark style .

That was a huge reason they wanted the new stadium. More people walking around = more concession sales. It's contributed to the lack of atmosphere though...and yeah the fans for the most part are lame as hell. It's also a reason why the Stadium always looks half full.

How does Citifield fair?

the only thing that sucks about Citi Field is the team that plays there. Everything else about that spot I fukks with for the most part. Museum is on point. They fixed the colors up. Food is still expensive but they got Shake Shack. I fukks with Johnny Rockets at the Stadium but I weigh 190. I had a large milkshake and I woke up the next day at 196. Seats up until now were inexpensive damn near anywhere. They do lil gay ass promotions but it keeps the crowd interested. Their ball in a cap game is more difficult, the ushers are MUCH nicer and shyt I even like their super express 7 train. They know people wanna get the fukk outta Queens in a heartbeat

But yea, i agree with everything. i really enjoy Citi more than Yankee from an experience standpoint.

BTW - the regular burgers/fries at Citi are ...especially compared to Yankee. All of the concessions, really.

Citifield is and has been a better baseball experience since both parks debuted in 2009.
