Does it bother anyone that they feel the need to announce what pitch count a pitcher is on. This always pissed me off obviously the other team knows he's on low pitch count but throwing it out there I feel makes the other team try to build that pitch count up.

Face facts breh. Compared to what this team has always had, nobody can make you at ease in the pen. That, and there's really no other closers at the moment headed to the playoffs that you'd be cool with.

and even Mariano was a whole different pitcher if he had to come in for a 4-out save, or in a tied game.

Question though - what do we do about Soriano this offseason? Lord knows Boras is gonna make him opt out after the season he's had & under the circumstances.
