CC :rudy:

Hughes under 4 era , 15 wins ummm is he a good pitcher ?? My eyes tell me no I mean he's a hr machine but he's pitching like a ace when we need it :ehh: I guess cut down the hr next year and he's good. After the velocity debacle last year I thought he was done . He has what 3 more starts?

As bad as some of these guys have been, it all goes away in the playoffs if they produce. Some players are flat out locks, but the Yankees will lose to the best and to the worst come playoff time. You get to hit the reset button come October. The goal is just to get there so we can regroup and reset. That's why as frustrated as I am with this team, any one of them can come through.

Hughes has been good hes just been so up and down, and basically hes in the top 3 I think in xbh allowed and most of that is all the HR hes gives up, he cuts that down hes good to go, you could make a case this is better than his 18 win season cause ERA is lower and he might get a couple more wins but hes always a risk of getting bombed

I dont mind this AS much if a guy produces in the offs though sometimes he gets too much credit which I dont like but whatever, but when a guy has had a very good to great season and the Yanks lose in the first round and he doesnt hit and the fans want to trash him its wrong. Swisher last season is a great example. Guy was great defensivly and produced a lot to get us to the offs, then he has 5 bad games and he sucks. That only happens in NY, I hate that mentality.

5 games?

try 3 years. he's the ultimate streak hitter who's easy to pitch to in the playoffs because he has so many holes in his swing.
