he's part of it, but there was too many chances to score more than three runs though.
Even if we do make the playoffs, I don't expect us to make any noise. Way to many problems with this team right now.

Still can't get a hit when they need one other than Jeter.
Too many times they get 1st and 2nd no outs or 1 out and then they can't draw contact.
See how the Red Sox just won the game with a single through the 3B hole, a single too deep at SS to play and a base hit through to RF. Not a single home run, not a single extra base hit. Meanwhile the Yankees either pop up, strike out or hit directly to the infielder.
As much as Kuroda should have held onto the lead, 3 runs against Boston isn't gonna cut it. Boston sucks but at least they score runs. The Yankees seriously went into this series thinking Boston was gonna lay down when guys like Pedroia, Ellsbury and Bobby V are too prideful to bend over for the Yankees

the same problems were there when we were 10 games up.
They already are terrible hitting with Risp but he gets the least run support too.
no more passes for kuroda . He's done this several times in a row he's bout as bad as cc now.

Kuroda game up 3 runs in 6+ innings. Again, the Yankees had a chance to blow the game open and failed. They had their chances. 6 inning and 3 runs is something you'd LOVE for CC to do right now yet this is a "bad" start for Kuroda.
The Yankees lost to 3 people tonight. Pedroia, Ellsbury, and Ciriaco. 3 beat 15 or however many people the Yankees used.
No excuse for only getting 1 run in the first and none in the 3rd. We can't expect the pitching to have to give us a shutout just to beat a last place team. 3 runs against anyone isn't gonna cut night in and night out. We're hitting like the damn Mets

The Yankee offense is not giving the pitching staff any room for error.
Yeah that's true. But we were hitting home runs then. When you're winning and scoring that many runs, it covers up a lot of flaws on your team. As soon as that home run well dried up though, it became apparent that the long ball was the only way we could score. Now there's more pressure, our pitchers have to be perfect. And they haven't. And we've forgotten how to play small ball.
