see, if the Yankees HAVE to spend more than $189 mil just to be good, then they have bigger problems. It's all about spending wisely, not spending just to spend, and for the most part, the Yankees have tried not to do that as much. What I'd like to see is them continue to buy low and maximize results in some positions til guys like Mase and Slade and Gary Sanchez are ready, but that'll take time.

Binder boy never attempts to manufacture runs, so it should come as no surprise that this team's situational hitting sucks.

I don't want bunts, I want timely hits.

If we could bunt effectively, it would help us out a lot right now considering how stagnant our offense has been. Timely hits are more important, but they won't mean anything if there's nobody in scoring position.
