Well delivered, moving, blatant, and motivational words that we needed to hear. That we need to hear more often truthfully. We need to stay motivated for change in the wrongs of our society. Humanitarian Award well deserved but I sense he does it for a way deeper acknowledgement & cause. Salute!

That speech was feel good talk that black people engage in on a routine basis. If the millionaires in that room were really serious about building the black American underclass, they would have suggested solutions like empowering small businesses in Black areas across the country, changing the content in the music, encourage people to make communities safe that are now in danger zones.
Furthermore, if black Americans were against the murders in their community, the murders wouldn't be taking place at all because the killers would now they will be turned in. But the killers already know that there isn't going to be any snitching so it's open season as a result.
There needs to be one strong movement Nationwide against black men killing each other.

Saying he is biracial is a fact, it isn't about "content of character". A white person could do the most for black people but that doesn't make him black. Stop being stupid. No matter, what he is biracial, end of story.
He needs to be talking to white people and holding them accountable. Not talking to black people about how white people have done us wrong. We know what white people are doing to us for over 500 years. Hold white people accountable and demand change, not preach to black people about being killed.

What type of horrendous math/logic?
Adjusting for population to get an equivalent situation wouldn't be simply setting the number of Blacks and whites in the country equal, and then multiplying the number of Black crimes by whatever new factor. You should instead have to take an example of a majority Black country where whites made up 12% of the population and compare those results. You should also be taking into account income, as this is the biggest determinant to violent criminal behavior. Finally, to get a more accurate picture, how about instead of just counting White on Black/Black on White violence in 2010, take it back to the founding of this country. I mean surely whites and Blacks didn't just start committing crimes against each other in 2010. Let's see who really should be more upset in the overall interactions between the races.
