People keep bringing up Heath Ledger but forget it was Chris Nolan that picked him. And Zack Snyder ain't Nolan. Only thing I'm certain about this movie is the action will be

The issue is I think that when most of us picture Lex we think about the Justice League animation version. The Arrogant, Chrasmatic, Tall and Proud lex. Eisenberg isn't what you think of when you picture Lex Luther, BUT niether was Heath Ledger what any of us pictured as Joker andolonhow that turned out? The one thing I can give WB on this is that He's a proven talented actor and therefore, until a trailer is realeased he should be given the benefit of the doubt....

LL supposed to be a self-made billionaire with reigns over the largest city in the world. A nigh perfect human. Synder said he was supposed to a mix of Richard Branson and Bradd Pitt. Not Zuckerberg and MIchael Cera. fukk is WB thinking when they casted this nerd.
This actor brings none of that to the table. None of LL qualities of his suave and sophistication, except his mad-scientist angle.
Unless they are going to portray LL as Harry Osborn like character, taking over the empire his daddy built, which is stupid, I cannot see a positive for this casting.

They were both covered in MAKEUP for their characters, as they relied heavily on their acting ability and physical presence for the role.
LL wears no masks, and this actor is not physically intimidating to the slightest. He looks like a real pushover, something that LL, who grind his way to the top, is NOT.
