I'm watching this season for the first time and I don't know why they even bothered. Season five felt like the last one, especially with the way they wrapped things up. The only reason to watch this season is Mike. His journey of being sober, trying to move on from his past and be in a committed relationship is interesting. Everything else is just without any fukkery surrounding it.

The worst part of season six is Snooki. I know they couldn't have her do anything because of her pregnancy, but that's just another reason as to why they should have stopped after season five. She's barely around for anything, she doesn't even live with the others, and when she is around, she just has the permanent look on her face while everyone talks about what they're up to. It's just awkward to see her sitting there saying nothing and watching the plot move without her. If you removed her from season six, hardly anything would change.

This. Trotting out a full blown "Family Vacation" show with these same 33-40 year olds says more about MTV's programming state than anything else.
