The picture was used to discuss how Jerry Jones don’t give a fukk about black coaches in the NFL. That’s what the article is about. It discussed his past, his dad welcoming black patrons at his store but running a racist political campaign, etc. it also lets Jerry Jones describe the breaks he got in his career but not understanding how his privilege helped that—but not wanting to create the same situation for black coaches.
Its a good read and it’s part of the Washington Post series on the lack of black coaches In the NFL.
