I am NOT a sex offender
I feel what Da King is saying. You have to have an interesting and compelling character for casual and mainstream fans to latch onto. They're not really gonna be into two guys who's character is they like to "play fight" and put on good matches. But if a guy doesn't have an interesting character or storyline I blame that on the booker not the guy.

But to credit @JerseyBoy23 point whatever match you have between the interesting characters has to satisfy the fans in someway and advance the story, otherwise you wind up with Kronik Vs Taker and Kane or HHH Vs Big Poppa Pump

But, I dunno I feel like the casual audience for wrestling his dried up anyways. Unless casual means like little kids and teenagers and their parents?

From two years ago:

No fukking shyt he needs to slow down. Don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that.
Seven concussions period is a lot. But seven before thirty and he's still wrestling?!!

Da GOAT with another one. :wow: I remember when I used to call wrestling play fighting in panties to get these clowns to realize it ain't that serious and now Da GOAT has turned it into a household name. :ahh: I get more entertainment from these dudes so upset over the politics of female play fighting than watching the actual play fights.

Da King has only spoken the truth about play fighting but was vilified for it, one by one every mark has been forced to admit Da King never told a lie :wow:

Even @R=G had to fall back

Most harp on wrestling ability because their favorites have bland shytty characters so they put an insane amount of importance on "teh wrestling skillz"

That's the problem with the s(uper)marks. They don't even know what wrestling is actually about. :mjlol:

Unfortunately it's true. Wrestling is like rap. In that people care about everything else except for the actual wrestling/rapping.

The only real problem with this notion though is that, what's the point of watching wrestling without caring about the matches?
Because many fans are too dense to understand that wrestling is an art form. They're too stuck on "LOL wrestling is fake" to understand that even though the matches are predetermined, there is technique to wrestling.

Just like how even though movies and tv shows are scripted, there is a technical aspect to acting. But there are alot of people that aren't able to tell you the difference between good and bad acting or rather what makes for good acting. It goes completely over their heads.

People talk about characters and personalities and whatnot. But to me, those matter the most when you're a mark which I am not. Once I stopped being a mark, those became meaningless to me :ohwelp:

There is so much wrong with this post Da King doesn’t even know where to begin. First of all the rap analogy with the lyrics when compared to wrasslin does not work as lyrics are important in a rap song but the actual fake match is not important in the play fight business.

Second, only a mark would watch two grown men participate in a fake play fight when there is no emotional investment into it, they are literally watching an amateur Cirque du Soleil performance, something that only a mark would put themselves through. Imagine watching a movie with no story and characters, just scripted events with absolutely no meaning :mjlol:, that is the equivalent of the current wrasslin scene (and all time low ratings and attendance)

I would say the super flippy wrestlers are the equivalent of ‘lyrical miracle’ rappers.

They can rhyme words for days but can’t make a song worth a shyt or say anything meaningful in their raps.

Oh really? If lyrics are so important, then why are there so many garbage lyricists :jbhmm: It's clear as day that lyrics are the least important part of Hip-Hop to the masses. They care more about the production/sound and hooks/choruses more than the actual lyrics. Just like in wrestling, where characters/personality/storylines are what the masses care about more than wrestling.

If the art of wrestling isn't important, then why even wrestle? Might as well go full blown soap opera :ohwelp:

Why would somebody be emotionally invested in something that isn't real :jbhmm:

Sounds like the logic of fukking mark :mjlol:
