Are we really doing this again ... Mods close this thread ! The guy didn't do anything that a lot of players do and don't get scholarships . He got overlooked so do a bunch of other people . The nba has players from all over the world and saw the boon a Asian player can bring to the Nba . I'm sure all the d1 white and black players that don't get drafted are also the subjects of discrimination ?? Why did steph curry go to Davidson ??

He owes a lot of his "success" to being asian too. He was an ESPN novelty and got endorsement deals because of his marketability to Asians not his skill. Russell Westbrook makes him look like Smush Parker, but you don't see Russ showing up on Volvo commercials

He had a Nike deal before he even accomplished anything :whoo: got picked up by the warriors because he was Asian and homegrown
