That was actually a nice breakdown for how Jenny viewed Forrest in relation to her childhood.
Everyone forgets Jenny was abused growing up.
And, I think people forget Forrest is retarded. Any normal man wouldn’t have kept coming back and forth thru all that mess.
As far as Jenny taking advantage of that, no that’s oversimplification based on their interactions. I’d say most of the time she was doing her on thing and their paths crossed.
It just so happens she kept crossing paths with someone she’d been connected to since she was young.
Basically, there’s nothing normal about their relationship
