I don't necessarily agree that these X-Men movies are better than the vast majority of the MCU, but let's say it's true.
There is still a major problem with Mystique being the star of the movies. Which was a minor annoyance in "DOFP"....in "Apocalypse" it's

I like Jennifer Lawrence but there is literally nothing to celebrate or look forward to about her continuing to do these movies. And if we're being real it does give fans a reason to be leery going forward.
