they'll probably have the cliche` scenes where her father taught her how to be a navy seal for no reason as a child. Them flashbacks.
LOL . Too true!.
And during all of her up to date training montages she will have them furrowed forehead lines just workin'
She really is a limited actress who should stick to those light, Mother of kids with a talking dog roles.
She was bad back in the day though on her TV show Alias, but that was over a decade ago.

The year 3030
this was basically death wish 2018 part 2, more or less the same nuances and plot, I thought it was more entertaining than DW 2018 though.

That one mexican guy from Breaking In is in this too...I was hoping he'd pull the resurrection shyt he did in that movie

The way Hollywood has turned Mexican organized crime into a catch all evil, similar to how Russians were done in the 80's, and ME people in the 90's, would be hilarious, if it wasn't such an ugly and accurate reflection of society as a whole.

Edit: not to mention the demonization of black and mexican gangs in the 90's

Yup the cartels are just misunderstood

This doesn't look that great. Jennifer Garner is not that great an actress and there is no real good bad guy in this. it is just a series of "baddies" for her to conveniently shoot. I bet the whole budget outside of her salary was strictly low rider tires and roach coach food trucks exclusively. Trash.

came to say this.

watching now.

theres a courtroom scene that should have made the watcher feel sorry for her, but she couldn't pull it off.

i liked it...

first off let me say, i was NOT a fan of Alias, to this day I didn't get, nor am I a Jennifer Garner fan, I admit she did her thing in Darevevil, obviously her and Ben Affleck had real chemistry because they got married and had kids, never saw Electra

she was decent in Dallas Buyers Club Leto and McConnaghey carried the movie and she didn't get in the way

now for this movie, yes, the villains are paper thin, the Fox News tropes are there, yes, it is paint by numbers, but am I supposed to be mad at a beautiful painting because it was easy, fukk no

what stops this from being a film of the year candidate is the beginning of the movie. Maybe it was cut out, maybe it was never there but I would have been more intrigued if it had started an hour earlier, movie time, to see how the whole thing set up.

So they don't spend much time explaining or with backstory, there is 20% backstory, 5% explanation. I guess they were like, you are not going to like the explanation anyway so let get to it.

overall its not something I'd break my neck to see again, but if I ever get cable again and it comes on, i wouldn't break my neck to turn the channel, so I will give it a high rental
