This doesn't look that great. Jennifer Garner is not that great an actress and there is no real good bad guy in this. it is just a series of "baddies" for her to conveniently shoot. I bet the whole budget outside of her salary was strictly low rider tires and roach coach food trucks exclusively. Trash.

Not watching the trailer, but i'll check out the movie. Been awhile since i've seen Sydney Bristow in action.
I miss Sydney Bristow and especially Spy-Daddy. It's been a while since I've watched ALIAS, so perhaps I'll start. She's not a great actress, but she could've/should've been a great action star. She had what it takes for that. Elektra should've been a darker movie, to push her from goodie girl next door, to edgy.
they'll probably have the cliche` scenes where her father taught her how to be a navy seal for no reason as a child. Them flashbacks.
Perfect analogy. I was thinking this LAC all over again just with more useless action. She trained for 5 years. Add some Kill Bill in it.Looks like Law Abiding Citizen mixed with Sicario

The big Jenn Garner
I'm not Mexican, and tend to lean towards HYON on other folks issues as of late, but looking at this trailer last night at the show I got lowkey offended myself. Even the title, Peppermint comes off like some bigoted sh!t to me. The timing of this flick is all kinds of bad to me. Trump types are literally going to be jerking off to this "film" when it drops. I mean literally too, especially when they get to watch it privately at home.
saw the trailer for this yday, fukk this movie.

I wish they'd make a sequel to Haywire. I actually liked that movie.
