It was his fault, but that's irrelevant. How could you gauge his boxing skill when he was given no opportunity to box.

And if he was a true boxer he would have found ways to counter effectively instead of backing up towards the cage. Look at the Melendez/Sanchez fight earlier. Gil was able to effectively counter everytime Sanchez pushed forward. JDS just allowed Cain to stalk him back while throwing wild hooks and dropping his hands. No footwork or head movement. Cain exposed him twice in a row. For him to even mention in public that he could beat the klits was already laughable before but its downright embarrassing now

He's not a true boxer though. Either way, that's irrelevant.

JDS failed to beat Cain, he didn't fail to out-box Cain. I don't see how you can say that 'JDS failed to out-box Cain', when they fought an MMA fight where boxing wasn't really a factor. Better boxing on Junior's part would've helped his cause a bit, but either way, the outcome would've been the same.

I was watching the Ruslan fight but I'm assuming the man who thinks he can beat Klitschko in boxing lost?

To a wrestler at that? :blessed:

Freestyle wrestling is the GOAT.

Yea he got outstruck significantly. Was basically eating combinations against the cage with his hands down the entire fight. Only true offense was a few power hooks and elbows

I've said it on here before but I'm not too big on mma for a few reasons, the racist culture that seems to love the stuff, the fighters/fans always bringing up boxing on some insecure shyt and also I don't feel I'm knowledgeable enough in the sport to have an opinion on mma. With that said mma gets a ton of props for what they are doing to the USA wrestling system. This year has had the most registrations of coaches and wrestlers ever in USA wrestling and I think a ton of that has to do with mma so they get my :salute:

@ the god II, The whole premise of your original post is off base, is basically what I'm saying.

When have 'MMA fighters always brought up boxing on some insecure shyt'? All I've seen is the pretty rare instance where an MMA fighter [for publicity purposes] will say they can beat a boxer. Boxers have done the same [similar to MMA fighters, they say it for strictly publicity purposes].

Virtually every fighter and knowledgable MMA fan has nothing against boxing. Matter of fact, a good portion of them are boxing fans.

Mma fans are constantly comparing ppv #s with boxing and just off the last couple of threads here 2 top mma fighters have said they can beat Wlad. Thats very disrespectful to the sport of boxing imo.

Notice how you didn't speak nothing on the racist factor. A white fighter can refer to a black fighter as an "uncle tom" in mma and dudes go :manny: And I won't even bring up the fans cism I've seen.

I get it you like it, cool. Its just not my cup of tea. I respect the fighters and I respect what mma has done to strengthen USA wrestling but thats about it.

How am I off base? His base is boxing. He has stated that he likes to box and he thats hes bread and butter. He said he could beat the klits and he believed that. Well how can he possibly entertain the thought of fighting them when hes supposedly the best boxer in the HW division and hes been outstruck by Cain twice now? I know you are a huge JDS fan but I honestly can't see how you could spin this

Racism in MMA is really miniscule. Especially now with the diversity of the sport so wide. I mean sure you have the racist, diehard sherdog type cacs longing for the days of Tank Abott but honestly there is more racism in baseball, soccer, and hockey then MMA

This. Plus its kind of a two way street. I've seen a lot of dumb shyt posted by boxing fans regarding MMA and vice versa
