I understand Vince's reasoning. Too often, these yokel hosses would cut promos about "Big Cletus, I'ma take dat belt offa you at Hog Wild '89, boy!" This made wrestling look trashy. They're not feuding over a literal belt, like two meth'd out trailer park denizens. They're competing for the prestigious WWE Cosmic Expanse Championship. But, in typical control freak fashion, Vince is being an absolutist about things. A jabroni gets hit with the actual belt itself and Texan JR-lite is supposed to say "He struck his opponent with the Title! What? I'm sorry sir. The Title has collided with a Superstar! What will happen at WWE Wooly Bully on the WWE Network, Maggle?"

What happened to the kayfabe, brother.

don't really care if i miss meaningless ppv after another

I only keep it to watch 90's and early 2000's ppv's and Raw and Nitro. Maybe I'm part of the problem because I'm putting money in their pockets but $10 a month is nothing to me.

Why? Why is Triple H not going to be a good CEO? He's done very well with NXT.

It's probably easier to book NXT which is once a week for an hour and that doesn't tour much and has a ppv about four times a year. Compared that to a 3 hour Raw, two hour Smackdown, a poverty every 2-3 weeks, 3-4 house shows a week, etc.

Idk if he is ashamed but you can tell that he wants to be known for more then being a wrestling promoter which was why he tried opening a restaurant, tried to create a football league, started a music label, magazines, film division, the whole bodybuilding fed.

He knows that he is successful at wrestling but he always wanted more. Instead of buying or being part of a group to buy a NFL team his ego was so big he thought he could start his own damm league and shyt on the nfl.

Wouldn't surprised me if he was jealous of Ted Turner and the amount of power he had during the whole WCW/WWF fued as wrestling was a hobby for Ted while wrestling was all Vince really had.

It's silly that Vince has that mindset. He should have taken the hint after the XFL, maybe after the WBF. Wrestling made him a billionaire and has set his children and grandchildren for life.
