To be fair, Jayden is in a way better position than Bryce was last year. Bryce did not have a go to wide receiver like Jayden does with Terry and The Commanders added two O-line men in Biadasz and Allegreti which has helped sure up the interior.

Let’s see if you keep that same argument if buddy starts struggling
The argument shouldn’t be predicated on JD’s performance but moreso what we do as an organization

But OP is making a dead argument, the nikkas who ran the Redskins ain’t the same as who running the 2023-present commanders

There’s like 5 nikkas from the Snyder era commanders still on the roster

The Commanders have a brand new front office (hired the 49ers Assistant GM) and assembled a brand new coaching staff.

Last year they got a brand new ownership group in.

The stench of Dan Snyder’s 24-year reign is being cleaned.

Brother, I can see the stadium from my house. Been a fan long enough to have seen our last Super Bowl in real time. You do not clean a 25 year stench in 6 months :francis: Let alone the five year stench of Ron Rivera.

So point being , please do not give these execs undue credit when really it’s a stroke of luck that the year they take over it happened to be Jayden Daniels available and not Trey Lance or Zach Wilson etc. They get credit for setting thr table sure but ultimately it’s the player that should get credit or blame

Except the organization is 100% the reason and you just don't really know wtf is going on behind the scenes to say such a thing :stop:

JD is great, but any QB can be in a bad situation and not thrive. Happens more often than not.
Or...... Andy Dalton is so ghat damn good that he could make a terrible Carolina team good

Does that make logical sense to you :stopitslime:

100% the reason is crazy. We have an excellent front office now. But that’s only a conduit. They can set the table but if the QB isn’t it, it won’t matter.

Also, a good/great QB can make ‘the organization’. See Brady

Prime example is ironically the team we just played. 2020 if we sucked just 1 game more and WE got Burrow instead of Chase Young, all of a sudden that same Ron Rivera regime is ‘a good organization’.

If u think Carolina, who traded their whole franchise on some 99 Saints shyt are comparable to the Commanders u just living in 2017

You need luck in the NFL.

But I think this new ownership... with a real front office led by Adam Peters is going to set the table. A quarter century of terrible structure for drafting and developing is being turned around IMO.

Adam Peters is from the Scott Pioli school of scouting. Which has had its results.

Was thinking about this last night then I remembered Josh Harris ugly ass bought the team
Is there another owner that owns teams in three major sports? Owning three teams while still running a private equity firm may force dude to let football people run the team properly. He leans to analytics too so they may fix the bad drafting as well
It's still early though
