Forget men and women, people don't respect themselves like they did in the 80s and 90s.
We're living in what will go down in history as the most blatantly insecure yet fronting like you've got it going on times ever. Ironically people have plenty to celebrate and be happy about but the nagging emptiness within they'd rather die than acknowledge is what fuels the need to build an image in other peoples minds of how they wish they felt inside.
The corrosive influence of this then seeps out into everything else and then society is what it is, a bunch of overgrown children in a prolonged adolescence totally devoid of wisdom. Relationships exemplify this well as does how people interact with their children.

This is a good sign, it shows simping is on the decline and some women are *shock* realizing they have to compete with other women and men will choose women who treat them with dignity and actually listen to them over women who bring nothing but mental illness, absurd expectations, and drama into a man's life.
