Tidal should have a team that focuses on up and coming indie rock. Spotify and apple are too big and bulky to worry about such matters but it could help diversify Tidals base. The fact that Rihanna already redid a Tame Impala track shows the genres aren't too far off. Deep House is another genre they could look into promoting. If they get exclusive content from these niche cool genres, they won't have to worry about going extinct considering they got hip hop on lock.

They do. They have TIDAL Rising which focuses on every genre. They have an exclusive from Edward Sharpe right now.
