Is it confirmed that she is/was an informant or is it just speculation/hearsay? If she really is then how does Jay-z, who has sold tens of millions of records promoting/reflecting on the drug dealer/street lifestyle, reconcile hiring her to run his company?

And how does Trump, who is on record stating how much he detests "rats", pardon one?

Yes this has been confirmed. Please see below

The story that spooked Dash revealed how Perez, the wife of longtime Jay Z wingman Juan Perez, became a cooperating witness for the DEA in the 1990s. After her 1994 arrest for possession of 35 kilos of cocaine, Perez struck a deal with the feds, agreeing to wear hidden wires to record her meetings with major cocaine traffickers. Her undercover informant work won her courtroom praise from federal prosecutors after she helped them break up major drug deals in Puerto Rico and Colombia.

My question is why does she give a fukk to be pardoned. She did it, it’s done, and she still in high ranks in the music industry. Why would she care she got a criminal record? Especially if she did the shyt.

I assume one of the reasons she needs to have her record expunged is due to her involvement in the new cannabis business her and Jay-Z are involved in.

why did she have time if she did snitch?

Did she try to sell after she snitched?

Following her arrest, she became a key government cooperator going undercover to help the DEA build successful cases against major traffickers in Puerto Rico and Colombia.

She also became involved with drug busts in Columbia, where she helped agents halt cocaine shipments of 50 to 100 kilograms.

A transcript describes how there was a mutual 'regard and respect' between Perez and the DEA special agents.

Cooperation with the feds won her supervised release, but she then went rogue and ended up serving nine months in prison.

After being trusted and placed on supervised release, it was believed she had been rehabilitated. She soon proved otherwise.

Just nine months into her sentence, she skipped town and wasn't seen for another nine months until authorities caught up with her back in New York.

She was charged with grand larceny, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a firearm.

Her probation was revoked and she was sentenced to nine months in prison and three years of supervised release.

Get back her rights to vote for the President, own a gun, and probably other shyt felons can't do.

When a person is convicted of committing a crime, they not only lose their freedom, other civil rights are often taken away. This will vary depending on the state where a felon resides. However, there are some common rights that a felon will lose. Here are just a few:

– Voting rights
– Serving on a jury
– Traveling abroad
– Owning firearms or ammunition
– Certain types of employment
– Parental rights

Serious question ..forgetting it’s trump and all that

Why do presidents always do this? And how do they go about a picking the cases ? Are a bunch of names just presented to them throughout their terms and they just kinda pick and choose?

like what’s the actual process
It's politics simply that. And at this point it just seems like tradition. It's like the last official act a President can do. I think it's kind of a presidential flex that they want to utilizie. Like if you were President you'd probably do it to. Like I really have the power to free anyone from prison right now...shyt fukk it why not? But yeah there's usually some kind of politics involved in the background. They wait until the end of their term because it won't cause any re-election backlash on them if the person(s) they do pardon end up fukking up again.

This is inaccurate. Desiree’s case has been public knowledge since 1994. She was arrested for possession with intent to sell. There is a reason why she turned informant.
It’s not known, the only info is a NY Post article relating to A-rod and Roc Nation sports claiming her documents don’t exist. That article has later been reported by various people.

I fukk with their movement, why the fukk would I lie when I want to know the facts :dahell:

With impunity too...

Presidential pardons are probably the most "WTF?" thing in the entire Constitution, and that's saying a whole lot. They can literally pardon anyone for anything they want as long as it's federal, who thought that was a smart/purposeful idea? Lol, smh. And they all pardon some people clearly for self-interest reasons, it's not just Trump's stupid ass. shyt is crazy
The United States government is meant to be a system of checks and balances between the legislative (makes laws), executive (carries out laws), and judicial (evaluates laws) branches of government. The presidential pardon is one of the checks the executive branch has on the judicial branch to make sure they're just not imprisoning people with impunity.

Wow I'm surprised it took this long for Perez to come up

Hov BEEN had her in her circle for decades at this point. All that rat talk really means nothing when you look into the details of who certain people are. I'm sure Hov aint gon face no backlash for having a literal informant in his circle, nikkas gon overlook that shyt easily

You are entitled to believe what you want, but If the documents don’t exist why did she request a pardon?

Also, the article in the NY daily news confirms they obtained her court records.
If they said anything that wasn’t true, Desiree could’ve sued them for slander, but that hasn’t been the case.

I’m talking about the snitching thing, not the fact that she pleaded guilty to distributing narcotics.

I just want to see the documents. Dudes are funny on one hand they laugh at Hov for losing 92 bricks but fully believe OG Juan’s girl was in bed with Colombian cartels moving 100+ keys at a time, could snitch on them, not be in witness protection and walk freely with no harm. It’s a wild story, some facts would be interesting.
