Dehaven would have been saying this from the jump

And say he is owed 1/4th of roc

But hey it is what it is

He HAS said it.

But other people around back then, have too. It's common knowledge. My OG Gary who just interviewed Dame was the one that he was meeting up with Haven because Jay said he could help get the label moving. All of us who worked there back then knew that's how we were able to get the office going and everything else that was around.

Sauce also spoke on it, and said that if Haven went in with Jay as a business partner, instead of just an investor, he would've signed to Roc. But since Dame was going in as Jay's partner, he decided to sign to MCA instead because he didn't like Dame. Anyone that was around back then, knows that Haven came through with the bread that was needed. That's been a fact for damn near 30 years.

So a convicted drug dealer is supposed to sue people because he took his illegal street money and gave it to his man to help support his new venture?

I don’t know where you're from, but that's not how that works. Haven told the whole story about how Jay called him and said he wanted Haven to meet Dame because he's the one he's trying to fund his career with and needed the extra bread to get it off the ground. Back then, booking studio time, starting a company and pressing media and press material was wild expensive.

Haven said he never wanted to get into music, so he wasn't concerned with owning a piece too. He said he did it because Jay was his man and he wanted to see him off the block. You don’t give people large amounts of street money and then sue them later when the thing succeeds. He was a convicted felon. He would've been implicating himself. You don’t sue. It wasn't a loan or some sh*t where he was buying shares. His man needed money and he gave it to him. Simple. He said his gripe was with Jay turning his back on him after he got locked up. He said that hurt him, and he was never looking for any bread back. Those dudes back then didn't work like that. They wanted loyalty, not stake in businesses you were starting with other people.

So why dame said that didn’t happen?

Dame is always up and up and never lies right?

So Jay is wrong no matter what

And every one always innocent and he is the problem no one should have been kicked out the whip?

They all should have total access to Jay and do what they want him to do?

Not being a contrarian just asking what people want form the outside looking in

Truth be told, Math is a clown and an idiot.

So I get what Haven is saying, but I wouldn't even waste time addressing any of the podcast losers. They'll just take that and use it for more content to push. For those in the know, there's no Rocafella without Dehaven. He was the one that put up all that bread that got them started and able to press vinyl and media to put out, initially. Jay and Dame couldn't come up with enough bread, and Haven came in to get them over the top.

He put Jay on twice. So if he's just telling his story, people gotta stop acting like he's doing something wrong by speaking on his own life. Jay just happened to be his underboss. But that's his life, and he should be able to speak on it without the hate.
No he didnt lol

You been looking shaky with your info lately

Dame said he didn't ask Haven for the money.

He didn't. Jay did. Haven just asked to meet Dame because if he was going to be giving Jay the money, he felt he should at least meet the people Jay was going to be going into business with. He didn't know Dame before that. So Dame wasn't the one asking him for it. That was Jay.

Then why Dehaven said same asked him for money

See the issue?

Dehaven never said Jay asked him

Nah.

He said Jay asked him for the money and then wanted him to meet Dame. He met Dame to see what the plan was, and Dame backed what Jay said and told Haven they did need help. He was there because Jay asked for his help. He didn't even know Dame before that. Dame just said what Jay told him.

So I don’t think it's an issue, at all. He was there to help his man, met the other dude, the other dude said "Yeah, we need the help". And he helped them. End of story. Dame didn't know him, so he wasn't going to ask him for money. He's saying that he just knew Haven was Jay's best friend. That's true. But if Jay's best friend is gonna help Jay's business with them, he's gonna take the bread.

So Jay asked for the money because Jay don’t have any

Didn’t tell dame where the money came from

So Jay owe Dehaven the start of the roc

The only way to fix this is to give dehaven jays total share of the roc then

Dehaven is the real reason rocafella existed

Makes all the sense in the world

Jay is grimy he should give away all that was built to Dehaven and dame since they did all the work and Jay was just lucky

Damn shame I believe jaguar and dame and Dehaven

I just find that funny it’s always someone in the background that says they did it all and they have no idea why they got kicked out the whip

They had plenty of money. Just not enough to do what they wanted, at the scale we all saw it back then.

Jay doesn't owe Haven because it wasn't a loan. He said he told Jay that he never has to worry about paying him back. Jay said himself that when he told Dehaven that he wanted to pursue music, Haven told him that whatever he needed to get out the street, he would help him with. They were close. Dude wasn't looking to be reimbursed on that.

Then why all this for what 20 year I believe

What does he want

Why he backing jaguar

It makes no sense at this point he have to know it’s no brining him into the fold now

I always wondered something

Jay would help everyone else with their taxes

Dame in the hole right now

I wonder if Jay thinks it hurts more it’s people he was close with that he won’t help

But he would help people he have no real connection with

After all damn and Dehaven and said I don’t think he would ever mess with them again

Plus both personalities are not good for business they talk to much I still not sure what tyty sounds like

Maybe heard Emory voice 5 times

Just me thinking

Just me thinking

He's telling his story.

People want to hear it. But he's also the dude that took a charge meant for Jay and told Jay he wanted him to go chase his dream, not hustle anymore. If he doesn't do those things and helps Jay, we might not even get any of this music we've gotten from Hov since '96. So Dehaven is an important figure in that way.

Jay said there were people who were telling him to get deeper in the game, but Haven was the only one telling him he needs to leave the streets alone. Dude was a true friend. That's why early on, Jay used to always call him his "brother" and speak highly of him.
