Well we was told not to discuss money. Just the issue of custody. With civil cases basically it’s one party filing a complaint against another. Mediation is an attempt to get it resolved before going in front of a judge. I’m not sure how their mediation would go.
I’m a founding partner at Coliberg, Brehstein, and DaHellwitz LLP. We were first approached about this lawsuit but declined to get involved for the sake of our firm’s reputation.
Confidential mediation is often used in civil matters to see if both parties can come to an agreement (monetary or otherwise) before filing a suit and proceeding with further legal action.
Jay-Z was sent a demand letter (likely with vague details about the incident in question) asking for a mediation to avoid having this go public. Buzbee had been alluding to this for a little while now.
The lawyer of the accuser is full of shīt to try to make it seem like it’s not all about money.
But dude has tried to get a bag for everyone allegedly involved and now has decided to throw a 45 yard pass to the end zone since it’s clear to “many” that Puff is finished so why not try to take down everyone else — and get the bag and some clout.

It’s fair game at this point since Curtis has had legit issues with Puff and Jay since they came at him first.
I don’t consider “How to Rob” as the first shot because we know that was just a funny record.
But the Mase/G Unit situation is justifiable since Puff pulled a snake move. And how many times has Jay thrown shade his way as recently as the Super Bowl thing.
I can’t feel any kind of way about 50 posting on social media if/when these dudes are accused of some pretty serious stuff. They deserve their day in court, however and any accusations need to be backed with proof because folks run with hearsay like it’s the truth.
