:what:..why do rappers look up to one of the most successful individuals that come from where they come from/represent what they represent and on his way to a billionaire that has done everything imaginable...

fukk alot of you silly Coli nikkas...FORREAL!!!

It’s a big difference In looking up to someone and worshiping them.

Since you say "worship"...can you show how it's worship and NOT looking up to or motivated by or recognizing greatness...

Or does all that mean worship to you?

What does age have to do with it Bro? I have uncles who are 6-10 years older than me who I learned from, leaned on them as a youngester and took everything I learned and now they admire where I am in life and what I have done/accomplished..

and there’s nothing wrong with this. There’s nothing wrong with admiring or soaking game from someone or looking up to someone as a mentor. Especially blood. I’m talking bout these 30-40yr old rappers and men included, who turn into groupies around jay. They remind of an ig Thot who takes a picture of a nba player while theyre sleeping. shyts weird to me.

What does worshipping even mean. They treat Hov with the respect and admiration he deserves. He is the ultimate example of success and achievement for most black rappers who come from nothing, who once provided for themselves thru illegal means, etc. He's the hustler fairy tale.

I hear you and understand....although I disagree...no matter the age or sex it happens to successful individuals period..people do the same with Mike, Lebron, Kobe, Floyd, Jay, Kanye, Trump, Oprah, Barrack, Kim K, Bill Gates, Jerry Jones, Marc Zetterberg, etc...

Yes people love that they are/can be in the presence, the circle of highly successful people...

Which is true, I’ve been around decently successful people and been :ehh:
But it’s the whole picture and constantly throwing his name out there thing. Nipsey has a line that show you where I’m coming from, “rap nikkas just wanna double date with you, tweet pic a picture, just to show the hoes they affiliate with you”
Regardless we’ll agree to disagree. apologies if I came off a little aggressive in a previous post.

Dudes don’t treat jay like a peer they treat him like he is a god. I understand meek because he grew up under jayz era. But fabulous is like 41 and was making records that was competing with jay. I
