Terrible. This sounds like something white men would say to blame black people for their interactions with the police. This isn't accurate at all because there's plenty of respectful people who came from single parent homes. The reason there's hostile aggression toward the police when they first speak to someone is because there is no trust in police officers. Every young black boy or girl is taught about the messed up things police officers have done to black people. It's passed down generation to generation. Or they seen police misconduct first hand in their own neighborhoods. That shaped their opinion of the police.
