Chance's agent is one of the most powerful people in music and all the streaming services have exclusives with artists. It's really about how much you can convince them to pay you. Swift obviously had a two year deal with Apple because her logic never made sense.
I know Chance has a great agent but my question is what did Apple Gain with that deal?
Having a Chance project wasn't going to make more people sign up to Apple
It actually worked the other way Because it had people that were already on Apple Music trying out a Chance tape cause it was being promoted on every page of the App
There's literally no precedent for the 2016 and 2017 Chance has had as an artist. Nothing makes sense aside from he has a lot of money behind him even tho he's "independent"
We not even going into how does he get Wayne, 2 Chainz, Bieber, Kirk Franklin, Jay elect, etc all on this third mixtape

. this tidal/sprint deal wreaks of what he did last time with MCHG with samsung that insured that he automatically went platinum before the album ever came out. hov's ego is too big to release an album in a conventional sense and have to worry about actual sales.
