me too, No is hard to figure out in the modern era. i love alot of the Cocaine 80s and Nas material, but the Vince Staples/Vic Mensa stuff is off to me musically. Dreamer had heat, then the next Common album sucked

I've been felling No I.D.'s non-rap stuff (Snoh Aalegra) a lot more than his rap stuff lately, but he's seasoned and Jay has a good ear so hopefully he picked out good beats.

Hoping it's more Summertime 06 Dion and not so much Nobody's Smiling Dion.

The last thing we heard from him was 'Freedom' on B's album, and while it was good, it sounded dated and a little out of place.

He's arguably my fav of all time, but right now he's not one of the first 5 people I'd go to if I was a rapper lookin' for beats.
