funny you say this cause there was a shooting out there not long ago, not all of Brooklyn is gentrified. there's still hoods like ENY, Canarsie and Flatbush. but yea that area changed alot.

the area changed a lot

but honestly it changed for the better

crime still happens but its dropped drastically in that area

im born and raised in brooklyn and own a home not far from the barclays

and im loving the changesnot just in that area but many other areas as well

some people mad at gentrification

but im not at all

for a number of reasons

tons of new businesses

as a property owner my property value has skyrocketed

tons of new friendly people of all backgrounds

also as mad as people were about it all this stuff has pushed out all the low lifes that use to just ruin these areas of brooklyn

like how ya mad at white people changing neighborhoods for the better?

ya wanna have ya hood lookin like new jack city for your life?

sounds stupid to me..

yea it's good if the crime goes down, but when they build these big ass stadiums and condos the price of rent goes up, it's the middle class that struggle to keep up.

They don't bother providing us with the services they're giving white folks and these newbies hand over foot.

And yes...I'm mad at the banks suddenly releasing all of this money to newbies that they didn't offer to qualified black boweeres that your stoosh tyoes would thumb their noses at. The presence of blacks do not automatically denote crime. They didn't do shyt for middle class blacks during that time but here you are making the presence of whites the end all of things.

Don't talk on what you don't know

This nikka is retarded. That banks freestyle was labeled a freestyle because he spit some bars on another nikka beat. Not because he did it off the top of his head. fukk is wrong with u remedial ass nikkas? You've never heard acrapper spittin over someone else beat called a freestyle? It's just a rap thing.

Now if you wanna get down to the actual act of free styling. There's only a few that can do it really well...acapella or over a beat. With that said....hov does not record songs on the spot off the top of his head. This is also taking nothing away from him...the way him n biggie created songs (lil Wayne too) by memorizing lines into verses over time before they get to the booth....is dope. But that's not what supernatural or king los does when nikkas ask em to freestyle.

Now stop catching feelings over a misunderstanding
Agree with everything you said except Lil Wayne records NOTHING like Jay Z

Just go back and watch the amount of times he had to punch in to record Big Spender :mjlol:
To compare Jay and Wayne is an insult to Jay Z man.
Jay spits whole verses, while Wayne has to punch in every 2/4 bars and still sounds/looks elementary doom it if we being honest.
Wayne freestyles some of his songs

Wayne also punches in a lot so at this point its probably nothing to lay 4 bars off top, cut, rinse and repeat
Exactly

Save your breath trying to convince me as if what you're saying is factual when you're clearly just stating your opinion. You haven't spent nan session with dude to know exactly what his process is. You're just talking.

You're actually low key hating despite your disclaimers because you're tryna police props. "Freestyle" has a very broad definition in hiphop. We call written rhymes freestyles so I don't see the problem with calling what Jay does "freestyling" because that's basically what it is if the process is the way he and others describe it. If you create songs in your head on the spot just by listening to the best then that's a freestyle. Take the badge off and let people give dude his props.

Have you seen the Documentary Fade To Black? They show Hov recording 99 Problems and some of Allure and Dirt Of Your Shoulders and it's exactly how @AkaDemiK said it
