walked in the barbershop yesterday, and they were talking about the album....3 of the barbers were saying 'how he go plat? the album aint out yet...hell, i dont know anyone with tidal or the album', just straight talking shyt....another one of the barbers was like i got it....then i say 'i got it too'....tell them i got tidal, tell them about the 'sprint' code, and it makes them change their stance...it then became 'the album cant be that good' lol...me and the barber with it are telling them jay did the damn thing with this album, and it's straight fiya.....so at that point, the barber with it said 'fukk it, here you go, you can listen to it on this phone, the phone will just keep ringing/interrupting the stream though'....so they plug it to play it over the system in the shop, push play, and yall shouldve seen the reactions lol.....soon as 'kill jay z' starts, all that shyt talking stopped...all you saw was heads nodding, and cats saying 'damn; hold up, he didnt just say that; that was a shot at ye; i gotta get this album' lol....seriously, during every song all you heard was 'damn, jay just fukking nice with it, i gotta get this album' lol....that last verse of smile plays 'i gotta get this album'.....'caught their eyes' plays 'i gotta get this album'.....when the 'too much gotham city in me' line was said, one barber just walked out saying 'i cant believe this shyt...that man jay...just damn' lol...

..so yea, this album is fukking amazing, and the reactions to it are great to witness.....cant wait to pick it up when the store opens...

side note: those worrying about a 'hit' on the album need to listen to it through a system, and not a phone....'caught their eyes', 'bam', 'marcy me', 'family feud', and 'the story of oj' are bangers that sound great coming through a system....those will be hits....
