That's not terrible. I love the shyt but for people that don't like this type of rap that's probably the worst I'd expect them to give it and still have credibilityYeah, I'd say that's fair.

It's not that I don't like it, I just don't think it's as tight as many cracking it up to be. That's all. I listened to it a handful of times a couple of days after it came out and I have no desire to revisit it. It was just AIGHT to me. I do give Jay props for coming w/ some different shyt instead of the same ol' frivolous bullshyt. This album is better than Magna Carter.
The funny thing is, Jay ain't the 1st to address some of the issues he addressing on this album. He's the 1st as far as being a billionaire MC but plenty of other nikkas have done this shyt before.
shyt, Cormega just dropped a great album a few years back with Mega Philosophy that was kind of in this vein a bit. Really great album. Gotta thank @Bugsmoran for putting me onto that shyt a while back cause it'd been a minute since I checked for Cormega too. Large Professor hooked him up w/ great beats and Mega sounded better than ever.

I wouldn't be surprised, but what makes you think so?
Personally I think the fact that jayz flow was kind of off on this record could be attributed to someone else writing it. Most likely a reach but who knows
I'm just reading between the lines. No album. No music. Touring the world. Living the life. The gradual subject matter change in Jay's writing since Elec's signing. Jay peeped Elec's incredible talent and offered him a deal.
