:heh: for real. it's like "Generic Reggae Sample Number 2"

Only reggae song I can think of that's been used more is that Double Barrell song with "Im.... The Magnificent" at the beginning
But that's a staple of dancehall if you know anything about it. Every artist jumps on a beat and gives their interpretation.
I bet the original stalag 17 riddim has been used even more than sister nancy's version of it..
(Here's a mix of 71 versions, and these are just jamacian ones)

It's old, but it's classic.

after spinning this back several times...this is a damn good album :wow:

don't know if it will end up with RD, BP, or BA but I definitely feel it will be right there with AG & V1 as some of Hov's great work. So many gems and there is obviously more that I missed out on so you know you gotta keep on going back :ohlawd:. This is the type of albums I want from the legends...shyt like this and Life is Good :ahh:.

The album is good but people reaction to it is corny to me. Meaning: other people and other rappers been said to invest or save your money. Now jay says it, everyone is scrambling to the nearest Money manager with their income tax (or what's left of it). Other rappers been said that rap was trash. Nas made a whole album about it. Now jay says it now everyone on it. Corny.

But I'm glad jigga is more overt with the substance instead of this I'm successful so "we" are successful even though I'll go home to my mansion you're in the projects but we the same color right?

The message he is saying is something that should be said. The point is others have been saying it, and more creatively and better for years.

Finally got around to listening to this just now and I can't believe the main takeaway from this entire album seems to be about his Ye/Kardashian diss & him cheating on Beyonce. This generation is beyond lost.

Well maybe jay shouldn't have bought it up:troll:
