I still vividly remember heading to my grandma's house for Christmas almost a decade ago, when Act II's release was imminent. I didn't have a smartphone or laptop at the time and my grandma didn't have a computer, so I had no way of checking on the status. I spent that entire Christmas Day thinking wow when I get back home Act II gonna be out.
Finally left grandma's house around 10PM...got home an hour later. Nothing.
Then to add insult to injury I see the reason for the delay is because the GOAT Nas didn't turn his verse in on time
But I'm like ok whatever Nas will get that shyt done soon and it'll be out by New Years or so...
That stuttering fat in the face motherfukker can kiss my black ass. Now I know what it's like to have a step dad who always promising shyt and never producing.

His voice and cadence is below average. for example, I'd rather hear Pacewon rap. Pacewon's voice is average in comparison to all-time rappers. Jay Electronica raps worse than Pacewon.
Those rhymes impress the smart-dumb. They aint about shyt. No wit. Nothing poetic about them. Just a dumb dude hitting struggle-smart words like 'atoms', "third eye', 'millenniums', etc.

Expose the faceless powers that rule the world. Atomic bombs they dropped created a mushroom cloud over civilians in Japan. Then he links all the powerful figures and symbols from east to west including the pope and lady liberty. He ends with the attempt to be recruited into the military and fighting the temptation of power.

You're reading way deeper into it than Elec spent on that rhyme. Look at dude in the interview. Does that strike you like a person who has a coherent and special take on world history?
