nikka only album ain't even his own full album:dead:

That's some lazy New Orleans shyt for real:deadrose:

I think Jay z forced it to Be a collab album so it had no chances to flop

Also it ensures Jay elect another album. HEs too old to have a failed debut album

Plus they both wanna make money obviously who’s gonna decline free Jay z features

Also if A.P.I.D.T.A. moved you to tears because you understand the finality of death
and have directly faced it, congrats, this is how Hip-Hop should be on the regular.

You should be profoundly moved by the weaving of not only the words of the Rapper/Poet/Writer
but the instrumental. When they complement each other that's the way forward for Hip-Hop IMO.

This is why I hold all of Kendrick's Album releases so highly this is a skill that isn't easily cultivated.
Stringing together multi syllabic rhymes or relying on other verbal or lyrical acrobatics can lead
to weak musicians/song writers who rely in totality on their writing ability much like rappers who
completely rely on swag/delivery/beats to convey their message.

It lacks if you're looking for any amount of emotional depth.

Was reading twitter and getting confused. So do all muslims hate Jews? I thought that was just Palestinians? It's goofy ass 5 percenters too? Or just Jay Elec?

This album is clearly effecting people 1 way or the other. Shows the power of music, everytime I come on here there's a post in this thread within the last 10 mins.

Think this is good for Hip Hop, there is a lot of great Hip Hop out there but this is a positive thing to have people talking and discussing.

Cause this isn't the cliche shyt about killing people, money, clubs, hoes and shyt some do.

There's a variety of topics covered on the album, and it's real art.

Jay Elec is the topic of conversation right now. I got some messages from some serious Hip Hip heads earlier saying they feel the album is classic, this was before I myself even discussed it with them.

A.P.I.D.T.A is the type of song you can show anybody pretty much cause it's a universal theme despite the religious chorus because can be God or Allah.

Jay Electronica is a wordsmith, some say Jay-X outshines him on the album, I disagree. He maybe did on Flux Capictor, Jay-Z'a flow, delivery, wordplay is ill on that and his verse longer but Jay Electronica has some verses I prefer too. Jay-Z probably had the best verse on Ghost Of Soulja Slim, there's other songs where I feel Jay Elec's verses have more depth. I think they have good chemistry and would take another album from them, I prefer them than Jay and Kanye which at times could be very superficial for me and it felt to me like Jay-Z was dumbing down to make music with Kayne, with Jay Elec it feels they are intellectually closer so it's on the same level.

Jay-Z is a legend, he's very skilled. And Jay Elec is a true wordsmith. 1 of my favourite lyricists.

Sounded to me like elec didn't have enough verses for an album, and Hov had to come through and flesh out the tracks.

Which is what elec needed because he basically admitted on the album to being scared to release one under all the pressure.

And I think Hov thought this was going to be the modern day illmatic so he had no problem jumping on it, seeing how hes a dikk riding fakkit that loves the attention.

:yeshrug:

Why does it sound like it was mixed and mastered in the back of a moving UPS truck?
