Yes, teams were doubling and trapping him. Did you not watch the games? Nobody said "no one cared and it was all a joke". :mjlol:
Did you not read any of the thread? :dwillhuh:

These other nikkas was collecting a check
I'm not acting like anything.. Numerous NBA players who actually played there have said it wasn't the same, they didn't feel the same, and it was basically a joke compared to real NBA basketball...
Now the players are confirming again, nah.. They took that shyt for a joke too

I've been saying the entire time that anyone who watched could tell they were playing all-out NBA ball but fools in this thread saying it was a big joke and they were just collecting a check. I already got on his ass for completely misrepresenting what Tatum said.

Did you even read the title of the thread?

I misunderstood your post. I thought you were saying Tatum said "nobody cared, it was a joke."

some cats thrive with coaching & the structure refs provide

others are better at the open gym blacktop feel

it's like academic booksmarts vs. natural spontaneous creativity

That's absolutely true but the refs and coaching were exactly the same as always. :skip:
it was still nba hoops

cats comparing it to open runs & streetball & that's a stretch

but cats definitely felt more relaxed so in that way it was similar

but for real we know why so many pros avoid the summer runs & try to keep cameras out the gyms

they be getting put in that pot by cats you'd never expect ha

You may not be furious, but you're obviously incredibly insecure about the Lakers title. Tatum didn't diminish the Lakers or say the bubble was "easy" whatsoever, and all you got in this thread are Laker fans acting like he insulted their mothers. :mjlol:

Every role player on the Miami Heat.

Let's have a look

RS and playoffs ppg side by side (Basketball reference):

Butler 19.9 22.2
Bam 15.9 17.8
Winslow 11.3 ///
Duncan Robinson 13.5 11.7
Nunn 15.3 6.1
Dragic 16.2 19.1
Crowder 11.9 12
Herro 13.5 16
D Jones 8.5 1.5
Leonard 6.1 4.7
Iggy 4.6 3.8
Olynick 8.2 7.6

Looks like the vets (Butler and Dragon) and the young all-star (Bam) upped their games for the playoffs, as one might expect them to. Other players (Duncan Robinson, Crowder, Iggy, Leonard, Olynick) had similar stats. Some saw their production drop for various reasons (Nunn, Derrick Jones).

The only outlier is Tyler Herro, who went from 13.5 to...16ppg. That's a 2.5ppg difference. One extra bucket per game basically. Maybe him and Bam (All-Star, but young) would indeed have less progress on the road in the playoffs. But that's only two players, and anyway they didn't show a huge quantum leap between their RS and playoff production.
