Rondo shot worse from 3pt in the 2020 playoffs (40%) than he did in his previous postseason (42%). Y'all say the dumbest shyt. :mjlol:

Laker role players from 3pt in the 2020 playoffs:

KCP: 38% on 6/game
Danny Green: 34% on 6/game
Kyle Kuzma: 31% on 4/game
Markieff Morris: 42% on 3/game
Rajon Rondo: 40% on 3/game
Alex Caruso: 28% on 3/game
JR Smith: 27% on 2/game

2/3 of the team was ass from 3pt but y'all constantly saying, "Rondo made 1.3 threes/game so it must be illegitimate!!!" :deadmanny:
Let's go analytics

When was this previous postseason, who was the opponent, how many games, how rounds? You tryna argue over a 2 point differiental on field goals from a championship run compared to a limited amount of playoff games that ended in a loss.

Rondo played 16 postseason games this time, 9 postseason games last time. It wasn't a big difference. He would only have had to go like 10-29 in his remaining 7 games to have finished with the exact same numbers. That's why y'all making a mountain out of a molehill.

And opponent is irrelevant cause with Bron/AD and shooters on the floor Rondo was practically wide fukking open for every three he took.

Again, y'all making this giant deal out of a role player hitting 1 three/game just like he did in his last postseason when other role players on the same team like Danny Green, Kyle Kuzma, Alex Caruso were all shooting like shyt. But Rondo is the defining player of the 2020 postseason or something?

The C's beat a dysfunctional poorly built Sixers team without Ben Simmons and the Raptors in 7, where am I supposed to be impressed :dahell:

I could give two fukks if you’re impressed, just don’t try to pretend they got their ass busted when they were amongst the final four teams.

Rondo and KCP are good examples. Role players went wild without the travel and loud crowds.

TJ Warren is another bubble moment

The bubble was a grown ass summer league

Assists and overall basketball iq. 3 point shots have never been on rondo scouting reports
He's been hitting open threes well since 2016.

37%-38%-33%-36%-33% is his 3pt% for the last five seasons. Hit 42% and 40% from 3pt in his only two meaningful postseasons in that time.

Hitting 1 three a game at a 40% clip wasn't an outlier.

I've never seen internet posters so determined to make a giant case over such a normal thing.

KCP shot WORSE from 3pt in the bubble than in the regular season, dumbass. He was 39.4% on the year before the bubble, just 36.4% inside the bubble.

And why aren't you mentioning Danny Green (34%), Kyle Kuzma (31%), Alex Caruso (28%), and JR Smith (27%), who all couldn't hit shyt inside the bubble?

This is legit one of the worst logical arguments I've ever seen.

You arguing stat percentages not looking at the games like a typical analytics nerd. The lakers lost a couple of games last posteason and the team as a whole looked horrible. Some close games where the team played ok. They also had a bunch of blowouts including game 6 of the finals. Take out the losses where the team obviously didn't care and state the percentages

What kind of wild-ass juelzing is this? :heh:

Just stating their straight 3pt% is being a "typical analytics nerd" now. :laff:

If you lose a game cause the role players shot like shyt, then now you claim those performances didn't count because the players "didn't care" about those games. What, is your argument now that when the players "didn't care", they shot worse? Doesn't that go against the whole claim about everyone supposedly shooting well in the bubble cause they didn't care as much and there was less pressure? :mjlol:
