Where is the argument?!?! Yes, brown is shooting WAY better. But he doesn’t do anything else offensively. His lack of playmaking is his Achilles heel. His poor FT shooting and ——despite Tatum being the one called soft—JB don’t get to the line enough is his Achilles heel. (Probably bc he know she ain’t a good shooter so he shys away). And in terms of comparing to Tatum, his lack of size is his Achilles heel.

Again, yall are hyper focused on Tatum’s flaws but for sake of being contrarian will ignore Brown’s. He’s a great player, but he simply doesn’t do enough all around to be better than Tatum. Personally I pick Jayson. But on any given night Jaylen can be the better player. It’s like they alternate on who is 1a and who is 1b

You basically answered it.

Jayson is generally the best player - he does more playmaking, is better defensively (not by a crazy margin but still) and typically is a better scorer. But Jaylen Brown is a great enough player that on a given night he can be the best player because he's more explosive getting to the rim and can make some explosive blocks/steals

But Jayson is the better/more important player. He does more and has more impact on average
