I've been praying all my life for an African sci-fi,action film I got tired of us being gangstas or slaves and then we get a fukking superhero movie that shows an although fictional African nation being the most advanced and intelligent a movie that even makes note of how the world perceives africa as a 3rd world dump not realizing all of the Beaty that lies within it, and that twitter c00n got something to say honestly I don't even think dude is black

People in power don't see Africa as 3rd world, and that's exactly why cacs won't leave.

You have seen JBs broadcast, he never debates anyone who calls in, he only debates people invited to the show prior and even then it isn't really debating.

Theres nothing to debate. Why would someone call up to discuss "nerd c00n" activity? Why would one open the doors to debate? Isnt Intellegent Black society supposed to be above this activity?

@KidStranglehold have you ever seen the infamous video he made about Game of Thrones. This nikka was dissing black people and critiquing the show at the same time. He said black folk were incapable of making a show similar to GoT because black people don't read history and speak poor English. He then went to say the show was racist. GoT is a dope ass show. I understand if you do not like it but to come up bullshyt reasons to hate on it makes no sense.

To be fair he did have SOME points. I dislike the Targaryen part of the show because its filled with white savorism especially that one scene. However, he the reason why I got into the show late because he greatly exaggerated some things. Some of the stuff he took out of context.

As for the bolded its hilarious because he is dissing BP which can be on the LEVEL of GOT in terms of film and can be a box office hit. Yeah. BP may be owned by Marvel but the movie is largely being developed by blacks especially a black DIRECTOR. If you know anything about the film industry then you would know that unlike TV the director(Ryan Googler) is MORE important than the producer(Marvel). This is why I would rather do TV because I prefer being a producer than director.

Also this film is going to boost Coogler's career to do more films WITHOUT needing Marvel.

I remember that video. TBA is right about that. To do a proper black/African version of "Game of Thrones" books/show, you would need someone who is completely up on & knowledgeable about on Black/African world history & geography. How many black fiction writers or blacks folks in Hollywood do you think knowledgeable about that? Not many.
