I don’t know what’s going. I watched night 1 & 2 and thought it was good. There were some good matches

It's fairly easy to understand. Right now you can literally watch good-to-great matches very easily from practically every promotion worth a damn in the entire world.

So you either need to give truly special matches, truly special moments and/or very intriguing matchups to stand out from other companies. The G-1 has been lacking on all 3 of those since the pandemic started and this year's lineup didn't look like it could change that. Most people are probably gonna pick and choose the matches they think are worth a look and watch the Finals live.

I think it was ELP's first official match as a heavyweight, and they also have a beef they're building on from Rev Pro.

Is it weird to anyone else to see Young Lions tagging with Chaos guys? I know there's an alliance but still for the first 3 years or so the Lions still tagged with only unaffiliated guys or old guys.
