Saw it this morning and thought... "Man, breh sure has been quiet about Strong-div as of late. Does he even watch anymore?"
:dwillhuh:

Seen very little tbf, I'll catch up eventually as there's been very few matches this year. Only one I saw ASAP was the Strong BJ reunion vs Ohtani & Daichi and it was disappointingly "just fine" :mjcry:

BTW, is there a link for the BASARA match against Abe? :feedme:

Takuya Nomura vs Fuminori Abe - BASARA 6/25/21

I got a little worried after the first mat exchange were Abe was on top, it was the least compelling interaction these two have had against each other by far. But then they get up and start to get things goings like they know how to do and it's :banderas: as always. Slaps were vicious as expected, the elbows didn't sound loud, but the THUD they made on every impact was :picard: they also pick things up on the mat with some cool counters and struggles to get on top or take advantage. I felt this was more of a friendly sparring session between two fukkers that think "friendly" is trying to concuss your tag partner :demonic:

Takuya Nomura vs Daichi Hashimoto - Big Japan 6/28/21

Well shyt, I was not expecting them to have a shoot style/battlearts type of match in this setting and they went for it :leon: this lasts less than 5 minutes so it's there's not a lot to talk about it besides the novelty of seeing Daichi switch things up and try something new (or go back to his IGF days) against Young Gawd. Daichi's stand up game is fukking garbage though :lolbron: Takuya took them right hands in stride and slapped the fukk out of baby Hash like he owed him money.

On the latest edition of his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Don Muraco discussed the health of one of the greatest (and in my opinion, THE greatest) wrestlers of all time, Terry Funk, noting that Funk is now living in an assisted living facility for those dealing with dementia.

PWInsider.com can unfortunately (and I cannot explain how much this breaks my heart) confirm this to be correct. Terry has been dealing with issues for some time that have gotten progressively worse over the last year in the wake of the passing of his wife Vickie.
