This is right about where I am, and why I said I'm not even mad. (aside from not caring, I still care a little bit) I can't get any angrier with NJPW booking than I did after watching that bullshyt. Just give me great matches from here on out. I'm even in favor of another long Okada reign at this point.

Oh, we've definitely been discussing Gedo's complacency/weird booking concepts for years now, but that was just the point where I genuinely stopped caring about it. I remember getting Inoki-ism flashes from that shyt and decided that I needed a break from NJPW (regardless of said comparison's accuracy).
Now I'm just neutral on it. shytty belts and perplexing champions/feuds don't matter when the issues are deeper than all that.
Oh yeah I forgot that the Olympics are happening this year

Even though I started picking holes on Gedo's booking in like 2012 or 13', I started to get annoyed like 2 years later. I finally stopped giving a shyt by 2018 or something. To be fair, watching New Japan this way is much better, I was a moron for caring that much
though that's what happens when you get too attached to something 2007-2011 New Japan was crucial in my puro stanning

Reminds me of the time I just NOPE'd out of NJPW in general once Kenny and em ran rampant, along with Naito forever getting shytted on. Once I realize that the book of booking is never going to change and its put into this world to fukk with passionate fans, I ended up not giving a shyt.
At this point, I just lone for catch can Pancrase shyt which is hard to come by in this era of whatever the hell Puro wrestling is on
