Should Never Mention Me
The revisionist history
Naito was questioned after he won the G-1 and the failed push he got. But dude was always seen as a future main eventer and the real prospect out of NO LIMIT. Dude made the G-1 Finals at 29 and in his only second entry in the tournament. And the 2012 Anniversary title match with Okada was basically made to push the idea they were the future of the company.
SANADA's story has absolutely nothing to do with that.
I expected more from Charlton
I can't believe that nonsense. The only period of Naito's career where he was doubted was when he came back after the knee injury, was clearly not the same, and they over-pushed him as a white meat babyface at the same time as fans were realizing they weren't gonna give Naka another chance.
And that ended again what, a month or so after WK when he had the Ishii match where he flashed the heel streak for the rest time.
