How when they cant even work that style in WWE? Would have been better suited for New Japan than All Japan. Its closer in similarity

I think the experience would still be invaluable though. The training guys get in the dojos just seems to be that much better.

I mean almost all of the best workers on the roster have that international pedigree. They may not be wrestling the same style they did overseas, but they'll take what they learned across the globe and apply it to their trade in the E.

I agree. Plus those who come from learning overseas get a better appreciation of the business. Id like to see Jack Swagger over there. He'd come back a beast after a few months.

I want no parts of Funaki and Suwama for 30mins. That Open the Twin Gate has my interest. :ooh: at Okada taking the fall in that match. I wonder if those Tana/Maru matches have been good.

Dude, don't even bother with DG spoilers. I haven't known what's been going on in that promotion since Tozawa dissolved Blood Warriors and created Mad Blankey.

Stables based on how boring everyone in it is :mindblown:

World-1 is back :mindblown:

CIMA seems to be back on his "I'm gonna beat everyone in the promotion so fukk everything" shyt though.

If anyone wants to fill me in, please do so.

Was just going to say this, I was digging the Funaki killing people in five minutes and less deal they had going, this will probably drag badly.

Kazushi Sakuraba & Katsuyori Shibata beat Wataru Inoue & Hiromu Takahashi (3:03) when Shibata used a PK on Takahashi.

Notes from 9/23 All Japan

The main event was apparently off the charts but Suwama and Funaki always bring it against one another. The big development is as Suwama was leaving ringside, Chono left from his commentators seat, whispered something in Suwama's ear, and headed backstage together . What was said? What will this mean? Maybe we can find out on 10/7 as Chono is scheduled to be at Korakuen and it will be airing live!

After the main event Takao Omori immediately challenged Funaki, and Funaki agreed. Funaki says he has sealed Suwama's "Controversy Ace" era and now it is the era of Funaki, the "Mortal Combat Ace" and would protect All Japan against any and everyone.

All in all a pretty successful show, Jr. Title really captured the fans, the Tag Title bout was bad, and the nWo tag was nostalgia.

Chono and Suwama :ohhh:

Looking like another good card, couple of odd match ups though.

If Taka doesn't bring it against Naito this time round he needs to be in the bushes forever.

The words "Yujiro Takahashi" and "bring it" never need to be used in a sentence again, unless it refers to the pain he brings to my eyes every time he wrestles.

Seriously, I've NEVER seen a Yujiro match where he's done anything but stay out of the way at best, or actively bring down the quality of everything around him without fail at worst.

Dude is just awful. Why is Naito facing him again? Weren't we done with this terrible series of matches a year ago? Just :mindblown:
