This generation of Young Lions is cursed. Oh, well. Okada will carry this company for ten more years.

More space for Top Shotta Da Young Gawd to shine.

........ seriously though, that class might legit be cursed, which is unfortunate. Oka was that dude.

This was posted on the Observer board, not sure how reliable VOW is

VOW just did a huge New Japan news dump, so consider the source when chewing the fat on this.

1. They said the production issues and lack of US commentary is due to a last minute situation they won’t get into but there was no contingency. Even the remote japanese commentary team was done at the last minute. I remember Dave reporting there were 2-3 other stories about what the delay really was about so this might be one of them.

2. Minoru Suzuki might be finishing up with New Japan. Says it’s a morale issue tied to not being booked for the G1. If it wasn’t for the Liger match at King of Pro Wrestling he would be done sooner and he’s taken a booking with Warrior Wrestling during the World Tag League so he won’t be booked there. Lanza says most of Suzuki-gun is working without a contract so there could be a shakeup if Suzuki does leave. Lanza said NOAH would be a possible destination.

3. Harold Meij could be leaving New Japan after Wrestle Kingdom. Lanza says he’s heard good sourcing on the notion that Meij is on his way out.

Fukk Harold Meij, as a staff, a record label and a motherfukking crew :pacspit:

If he goes to NOAH, he could end up on MLW though :mindblown:

NOAH taking Suzuki :suzuki: #WeAreTakingOver

Last time they did it they basically went broke and were the closest they've ever been to closing shop. Booking him again, specially with Suzuki Gun is the most NOAH thing ever :mjlol:

Sugi vs MiSu though :whew:

@Jmare007

Sekimoto vs Hino was definitely battle of the Kaiju's. These guys were having a bomb fest for 20 minutes and then pulled off multiple flawless deadlift suplexes on each other like the match just started. Hino in the babyface role and Sekimoto playing the a$$hole heel worked perfectly for the story too, that one fan was loud as fukk cheering for Hino though. :heh:

I never looked /too/ into it I think mostly from being American and not having NJPW around me incredibly easily, but I've heard not many great things about Meij running shyt. Would be okay with him getting out.

WALTER really does whatever the fukk he wants :heh: I guess Okabayashi takes the fall? Should be a barn burner though :takedat:

Also, wXw pulled off some extremely impressive again: Daisuke Ikeda vs Yuki Ishikawa will face each other once again on 16 Carat Gold weekend. Holy shyt :krs:

wXw did a sort of Q&A (or press conference? idk) during this weekend's show. They said Sekimoto asked for WALTER months ago but they only began talking about the deal last month and that it got done 10 days ago.

Liger and MiSu about to go full :demonic:

I think worst case scenario they'll give us a match full of fukkery that will be fun to watch. Best case scenario.... :wow:

Liger about to find out what happens when you bring a knife to a (Suzuki) gun fight :wow:
