I don't think Jay White is a charisma vacuum. I think he's just running the wrong gimmick for the wrong audience. Them long ass promos are falling flat because he's cutting them in front of an audience that can't understand what he's saying, and on opponents that don't either and can't respond. They just need to tell him to cut shyt short, and work for physical fukkery () into his act.

As a character, White strikes me as those "wrestlers who pretend to be wrestlers" instead of a real gimmick

Miz was like that for the longest time and he was able to figure it out, but as of right now White makes no sense as a top guy, let alone the main champ.

The All Japan Sanada from 8 years ago would've never been as over as he is today. I think he's good enough to get a legit push.

I don't necessarily disagree with that assessment of White, but that kinda makes it even more stupid to have SANADA involved in the main event.

Jay White's gimmick is a kid from 1998 who is really into the NWO but also Korn and NIN

Everyone talks about Jay White’s “gimmick” not fitting him? What would you have him do? I honestly can’t see him doing anything other than being a bland Napoleon Dynamite.

People said this about Nakamura too. Dude was bland AF when he was in his initial main event push. They sent him to Mexico and he came back with a whole new persona. Jay White went to ring of honor who short of the Briscoes, Dalton Castle, and a few others have no real gimmicks. He was bland as hell there too and other than a costume change and some new moves hasnt really changed much. Point is dude isnt worth the spot he has yet and people are starting to doubt wether he will ever be. For all this they should have gave it to Tama because he can at least carry the personality side of things.

Idk man, Jay White is bland and lame, but Tama is pretty shytty in the ring and his personality is contained mostly to outside of the ring promos that don't matter at all for NJ storylines.
