to each his own but thats a wild statement :picard: you telling me as a wrasslin fan you saw Okada Shibata and looked at it like :russell: but those mid Jay White matches are where it's at :scusthov:
I haven't seen Okada/Shibata. Just going off of what I've seen over the last 3 years or so (which admittedly I wasn't regularly checking NJPW until last summer).

Jay White is at least something new. I'm willing to sit back and we what he can do as champ. Looking forward to some matches with Naito and Ibushi. :obama:

Also, didn’t White lose a to Tana a few weeks ago for the title? What kind of WWE booking is this that he gets another shot? :what:
I think you're thinking of when White lost to Tana late last year (the WK title shot was on the line in that match). Jay jumped Tana at New Year Dash, which was the night after beating Okada at WK. Staked his claim as #1 contender and then made Tanahashi tap out in a tag match a few weeks ago to an inverted figure-four. Even calls the move the TTO now-- Tana Tap Out. :mjlol:

Don't see them being able to sustain a great match for 30 minutes. It doesn't fit Hino's style and even though Daisuke has gotten miles better at longer matches, a draw is always a tough task. Still, I wanna watch it :blessed:

ALSO

:ohlawd: Ashino about to face the final boss to establish himself as a legit player.

Haven't been keeping up w the young lions ....how Shibata crew doing? :jbhmm:

Have they debuted yet?

New Japan did get a good generation with Umino, Narita and them giving the Ibushi treatment to Yoshida. That's three people that will be able to contribute whenever need it.

It's kinda weird how the Kitamura, Oka and Henare generation, that looked very promising, still hasn't gotten a real chance and feels kinda lost (in the case of Kitamura he's already gone).
