Catching up on the Road to Power Struggle. The Genius is pretty bad on commentary.

:ohhh:@ The Okada/ Gedo/ Switchblade storyline being like :birdman:ditching Wayne for Young Thug.

In for Okada suing for mismanaged money and Gedo telling him that they were dropping the Rainmaker's 401k from the rafters at every show.:damn:

"What yen, Okada-san? :birdman:"

Just finished the RevPro/NJPW show from a few weeks back. It was a solid show, but I don't know who any of these Euros are other than the ones that are already in NJPW.

I forgot this was the show Ospreay hurt himself. Landed right on his neck after doing a Pele kick but apparently it was one of his ribs that got injured according to reports.

I could watch Suzuki and Ishii kick, slap and throw elbows back and forth all day. :russ:

Bucks officially confirmed on Jericho's Booze Cruise that Cody, Bucks, Omega, Page and Scurll are officially "The Elite" and not BC affiliated anymore.

Kinda weird that this stuff is getting announced outside of an angle (and outside of NJPW) and that they are all wishing the BC well. Figured it would've come down to Elite vs OGs in a battle for the name. OGs have kicked the Elite's ass every chance they got and took two belts off them and the Elite are just like :manny:.

Where does this leave Owens and Takahashi? I could take or leave Takahashi but what about Muffin Ass? :damn: And I like Owens a lot. His sense of humor seems to fit in with The Elite, not sure why they don't really feature him on the YouTube show. I love the interplay between him and Ibushi when they tag.

Is it fair to think the whole BCOG shyt was just a last minute decision because the Bucks and their crew wanted to distance themselves from it and profit with The Elite stuff? :patrice:

That's pretty much solely it. If memory serves, NJPW owns the Bullet Club brand. I think All In showed them that they're capable of making far more money than they thought outside of the traditional Bullet Club umbrella. So, at some point, in order to truly capitalize, they had to leave the BC stuff behind.

Nah. BC gonna keep going, they just won't be "cool heels" anymore or have any breakout stars other than White.
