Logical to me ain't logical to Vince McMahon either breh :pachaha: and I didn't have much of a problem with this weekend's show.

You sound so defensive when discussing New Japan :pachaha: six months ago you were asking when were their shows and if New Japan World was worth it, I assumed you had never seen it before.

I was asking if the sub was worth it, didn't know how far the library went etc so I asked in here. I would think this would be the place to ask :patrice:

I've already said it on here I aint as hard to please as some of you. Give me a good match, a good reason it's happened and im good. :hubie: If you giving me fukkery then ill take it for what its worth, its wrestling.

you know the #s sold in halls halfway around the world to you and of a whole different culture but you know what's best, okay breh. This is one of the reasons nikkas don't like wrestling fans in general everyone knows it all. :hhh:

Every fan "knows it all" about the shyt they are a fan of. Same shyt happens with boxing, MMA, other sports, comics, movies, etc :heh: I've seen you bring up how GGG stans count hot dog sales to prove he was a "draw".

The numbers thing is simple math, and we've seen how promotions went from juggernauts to the complete shytter in Japan in the last 15-20 years. And there's a bunch of discussions about matches and wrestlers from every promotion and wrestler imaginable in this thread, you make it sound like it's a Nate Silver run thread :mjlol:

I'm really not feeling the title scene in NJPW at all.

Going too westernized, plots getting lost in the shuffle, the stable wars have even less stakes than when I started watching.

They're suffering from WWE syndrome - too much talent, not enough to do with it, and what they do do is baffling as hell sometimes.

Shingo relegated to Junior is also just fukking bizarre to me. I dunno, brehs
Breh its been westernized for a LONG time, but now having a US title makes it far less hidden than it was before. I honestly noticed this going back to the yearly big white hoss tag teams of the mid 2000's til now. Any company that gives Tomko a belt will give anyone a belt.

Things I'm interested in NJ right now:

Ibushi eventually going to the demon realm one too many times and killing Kenny
The possibility of a Tanahashi/Okada super team

That's about it. Shingo as a junior does nothing for me because the junior division means nothing and is basically Kushida's vanity division until he hits 40. I thought he'd look small against NJ heavies, but he's about the same size as Naito/Evil/Sanada, so I guess NJ main eventers were smaller than I thought. Not interested in him teaming with Bushi because Bushi is boring as shyt.

Not interested in Elite vs BCOG, not interested in Jay White (although I would have lol'd if he turned on Gedo when he joined the BC), not interested in anything SuzukiGun is up to, Jericho is now going up against 3rd level mooks, what happens to CHAOS is of no interest

Really, Tanahashi's one last run is easily the most compelling thing they have going right now. Kenny vs Ibushi is simultaneously too drawn out and too rushed, and seemingly 90% of the build is done on BTE and not NJ programming. There's no point in getting invested in mid card stories, unless you enjoy never ending start-stop pushes that go nowhere for years at a time. Ospreay graduating to heavyweight could be interesting, but it will probably be another 6 months to a year before he does.

They are still having quality matches and stuff makes sense which is the most important part to me. I don't like Jay White he is super average to me but I ain't mad at White's push as his come up at least makes sense.

He gave Kenny's bc invitation the :pacspit: and why not join the group who have given them the beats every time. Haku around as well :hubie:

As far as people being upset at xyz wrestler not doing xyz this is the issue w fantasy booking when you don't get what you want you all :martin:

At this point im cool w the story they telling and want to see where it goes. :hubie:
Yeah, to me this stuff is interesting as hell right now. Chaos, Tanahashi/Okada, Elite, OGs... so many things they could do right now and I have no idea where they're gonna go, which makes it even more entertaining.

Not to mention all of the other great talent the company has. Good/great matches up and down the card, interesting top storylines... I'm loving NJPW right now. But this is my first year really paying attention to it, it's been a breath of fresh air.
