I'm really not feeling the title scene in NJPW at all.

Going too westernized, plots getting lost in the shuffle, the stable wars have even less stakes than when I started watching.

They're suffering from WWE syndrome - too much talent, not enough to do with it, and what they do do is baffling as hell sometimes.

Shingo relegated to Junior is also just fukking bizarre to me. I dunno, brehs

It's not fantasy booking, it's logical booking being thrown to the bushes and people creating fake narratives to justify it.
